Dr. Jeffrey Farber, B.Sc., D.D.S., F.R.C.D. (C)

Dr. Farber has been an oral and maxillofacial surgeon since 1999. He completed his surgical training at Montefiore Medical Centre, Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City. Prior to that, Dr. Farber graduated from the University of Toronto in 1994 with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Before his dental and surgical degrees, he graduated from the University of Toronto with an Honors Bachelor of Science in Pharmacology and Human Biology. He also completed an internship at Mount Sinai Hospital in 1995. While at the University of Toronto, he was also involved in research in the fields of neuroanatomy and neurophysiology.

Dr. Farber is currently on staff, and operates out of, North York General Hospital. He is involved in teaching as a clinical instructor to the undergraduate dental program at University of Toronto. He has been teaching for over 15 years in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. Farber is a member of the Ontario Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the Canadian Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the Ontario Dental Association and is a fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada.

When not working at Metropolitan Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Centre, Dr. Farber can be found enjoying time with his wife and two children. He is an avid snow boarder and mountain biker. Dr. Farber also enjoys photography, especially capturing moments involving his two children as they Alpine snow board race.
