Dr. Victor Moncarz, D.D.S., F.R.C.D. (C), F.I.C.D.

Dr. Moncarz received his D.D.S. from the University of Toronto in 1969. He completed his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Toronto in 1973. Along with his private practice, he has had a teaching appointment in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Dentistry for over 30 years. He received his fellowship in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from the Royal College of Dentists of Canada in 1976 and became a diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 1977. Dr. Moncarz is the former Executive Director of the International Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the past president of the Canadian Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.

He has been an examiner for the Fellowship of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in both English and French. He has lectured nationally and internationally. Dr. Moncarz was head of the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department at North York Branson Hospital and is currently a staff surgeon at North York General Hospital.

He is a member of the Ontario Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the Canadian Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the International Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
